About me
I have always had a deep interest in children’s mental health and wellbeing.
With a lifelong love of art and design, I believe strongly in the healing and expressive power of creativity. I have a natural affinity with children and currently work as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, supporting children with a wide range of needs.
My passion is to see every child given the space to work through their issues and difficulties at their own pace in a safe, supportive environment.
I provide a safe, supportive space for primary school-aged children to explore their emotions through creative arts. Here, they can express themselves freely, build confidence, and begin to make sense of their emotions. It can be hard for children to put big feelings (worry, anger, sadness or difficulties in their relationships and learning) into words.
In this calm, nurturing and playful environment, children can:
- Express their feelings freely and without pressure.
- Build confidence, improve self-esteem and resilience.
- Develop healthier ways to cope with challenges.
- Strengthen their emotional wellbeing both at home and school.
- Make sense of their experiences and discover new ways of communicating and connecting.
Every child deserves a place where they can feel heard, understood and empowered.
