About me

I am a qualified and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Primary Teacher with over 13 years in education. I know how important it is for every child to feel supported, understood and confident in their learning. Over the last 7 years, I have taught children from Early Years through to Key Stage 4 in both special schools and inclusive mainstream settings—working in two outstanding schools in the UK and the UAE.

I specialise in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). I have experience in supporting students who have ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, EAL, Dyslexia, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), PMLD and Global Developmental Delay (GDD).

My sessions are personalised and tailored to each student’s strengths, interests and individual needs. I focus not just on academic progress, but also on building functional, life and vocational skills that are meaningful and practical, making learning both engaging and relevant to everyday life.

I tuition KS2 English and Maths and GCSE subjects: English Language, French, Media Studies, RE, Child Development, Health & Social Care.

My passion for supporting SEND students was inspired by my own family experience, having a close family member with Down Syndrome. This personal connection motivates me to help families like my own feel supported and empowered.

Outside of tutoring, I love to travel, explore new countries and cultures. I also enjoy a trip to the theatre to watch musicals and also enjoy being active; whether it’s walking, hitting the gym or swimming.
